THERE IS A WAY OUT!
If you want to begin experiencing God in your life, start by praying this prayer of salvation...

THE ANSWER!!!
Jesus Christ

I understand and believe that I have failed to love you by going my own way in life. I’ve missed the mark. I have done and thought wrong things. I want to change. My sins have earned death for me. But you sent your Son, Jesus, to die in my place. I receive this gift by believing that Jesus’ death is sufficient to cancel out my sin. I want to receive your gift of eternal life and begin a relationship with you. Jesus I ask you to come and live in my heart. Amen

STEP 1
God’s Purpose: Peace & Life
God’s loves you and wants you to experience peace and life, abundant and eternal.

The Bible says…
“We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Romans 5:1 (NIV)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 (NIV)

Why don’t most people have this peace and abundant life that God planned for us to have?

STEP 2
The Problem: Our Separation
God created us in His own image to have an abundant life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him. God gave us a will and a freedom of choice. We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.

The Bible says…
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:24 (NIV)

Our Attempts to Reach God
People have tried in many ways to bridge this gap between themselves and God…

The Bible say…
“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”
Isaiah 59:2 (NIV)

STEP 3
God’s Bridge:
Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people.

The Bible says…
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ.”
1 Timothy 2:5 (NIV)
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us”
Romans 5:8 (NIV)

The Most Unique Person
Jesus Christ is often compared to other prophets and teachers, but He is the most unique person to ever live. Everything from His birth to after His death was miraculous and set Him apart from everyone else. Jesus was born by a virgin -- a natural impossibility. Before His mother Mary was married, she was told by an angel she would give birth to the Son of God. When she asked him how this could be, he answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God." Just as promised, the virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus Christ, the most incredible person to ever have lived.
An Amazing Life
Jesus' life was just as amazing as His birth. At 30 years old, He went out into the cities of Israel and began teaching and healing people. The Bible records that He was different from other preachers, for "the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes." Likewise, there was no disease too great for His power. It says, "They brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments. and He healed them." Threatened by His fame and authority, the political and religious authorities conspired to kill Him.
A Sudden Death
His death had been predicted over a thousand years before. The prophet Isaiah wrote of Jesus, "He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed." Jesus would pay the penalty for our sins so that we could be forgiven and have eternal life. Just as had been predicted, Jesus was given the most brutal death sentence of that day for maintaining that He was the Son of God. While hanging on a wooden cross with spikes through His hands and feet, He prayed, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Jesus had power to come down from the cross, but He chose to sacrifice His life for others.
The Promise is for You
Just as promised, God raised His Son Jesus back to life -- eternal life -- on the third day after His burial. He was seen by His closest friends and over 500 of His followers before He went up into heaven before their very eyes. After His resurrection, his close friend Peter told a great crowd to repent from their sins and believe in Jesus Christ to be saved, "for the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call." This promise is for you! There are many religions and prophets, but no one but Jesus Christ offers complete forgiveness from your sins and eternal life with God. He has already died for your sins; now you must put your faith in Him. "For if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." If you believe in Jesus, you can pray a prayer like this right now and receive the gift of eternal life.

Psalm 86:11-12
Teach me your way, O LORD, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave.

What does it mean to be saved?
Lately the question has been raised in many circles within our society, both Christian and secular, of “What does it means to be saved? Is salvation just a prayer? Is it simply “doing” all the right things (works)? Or is it just having all the “correct” beliefs? The Bible teaches that salvation is the realization, acceptance, and submission to Jesus’ King-ship over our lives. Salvation comes when, as people, we put our complete trust and reliance in Christ’s sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection. We are saved when we choose to make Jesus “King” over our lives; where God has the place of authority, and the right to guide and direct our steps. When we accept God’s grace through faith in Christ’s sacrifice and make Jesus king over all that we do, we begin to follow God’s desires for our lives and not our own. Salvation is more than just a prayer, it is more than just a belief; it is the total surrender of ourselves to Godâ’s guidance, authority, and love. Billy Graham once said, “The price of Christ’s friendship would be total surrender for a life-long discipleship.”

Does salvation make us perfect where we no longer ever sin or mess up? No, but by putting God as head over our lives, through God’s sanctification we become more like Christ if we choose to seek Him daily and to allow ourselves to be renewed by His Word and Spirit.
Romans 10:9 states, “That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” If you have never accepted Jesus as king and savior of your life, please take this moment to make a decision to live for Christ and allow Him to have Lordship over your life. Below is a simple prayer that you can pray to release your faith and start your brand new life with Christ.

“My Heavenly Father, I come to you in Jesus name. I confess that I have sinned and have gone my own way, trying to live for myself. I ask that you forgive me of my trespasses and save me where I am. I ask you to be Lord over my life, to guide and direct me in everything that I do. I vow to live for you everyday and ask that you give me wisdom and guidance to fulfill my destiny. I will serve you forever. Thank you for saving me and making me brand new. In Jesus name I pray. Amen”

Congratulations, You’ve just made the most important decision of your life! The Bible says that if you prayed that prayer from your heart that you are a brand new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17), that all your sins are forgiven, and you have been reconciled to God (v. 18). Now make sure to feed your new spirit daily. The best way to do so is to get plugged into a good Bible teaching church, pray, and read your Bible daily.

One Solitary Life

Let us turn now to the story. A child is born in an obscure village. He is brought up in another obscure village. He works in a carpenter shop until he is thirty, and then for three brief years is an itinerant preacher, proclaiming a message and living a life. He never writes a book. He never holds an office. He never raises an army. He never has a family of his own. He never owns a home. He never goes to college. He never travels two hundred miles from the place where he was born. He gathers a little group of friends about him and teaches them his way of life. While still a young man, the tide of popular feeling turns against him. One denies him; another betrays him. He is turned over to his enemies. He goes through the mockery of a trial; he is nailed to a cross between two thieves, and when dead is laid in a borrowed grave by the kindness of a friend.
Those are the facts of his human life. He rises from the dead. Today we look back across nineteen hundred years and ask, What kind of trail has he left across the centuries? When we try to sum up his influence, all the armies that ever marched, all the parliaments that ever sat, all the kings that ever reigned are absolutely picayune in their influence on mankind compared with that of this one solitary life…
